IHSWLA Coaching Clinic and Pre-Season Meeting

Coaching Clinic and Lunch
? Sessions are 45 minutes and lunch is included ? cost is $35, check made payable to IHSWLA.

? 9 am ? Josie Broussard "How do I this by myself as one coach?" ? Head Coach at St. Ignatius and coach with Lakeshore Lacrosse. Ways to be effective and efficient with drills and time, working with all your athletes and handling all the coaching responsibilities when you are by yourself.
? 10 am ? Lindsay Finocchiaro "Team and Individual Defensive Skills" ? Former Northwestern All-American and National Champion, head coach at Hinsdale Central and director of Players Lacrosse Club. Essential individual defensive skills and team concepts like sliding and communication.
? 11 am ? Kristen Murray "Integrating Lacrosse Skills and Footwork into Strength and Conditioning Drills and Games" ? A US Lacrosse certified coaching instructor for Level 1 and 2 classes, director of Trevian Youth Lacrosse Club, varsity coach at New Trier and former standout at Brown University. Drills and games that are both competitive and purposeful that use lacrosse movements for footwork, skills and techniques.
? 11:45 -12:15 Lunch

? 12:15 pm ? Rules Interpretation DVD and Discussion, Helder Weil, Chair Illinois Umpiring Board
? 1:30 pm ? Pete Collins, IHSWLA President "Coaching with a Purpose"
