Camille helped lead Fenwick to a 3-0 record to open the season. She had four goals to lift the Friars to a 9-7 win over Lyons. She also had five goals and an assist in win over Wheaton Warrenville South.
March 29
Erica Lorenz, Marian Catholic
Erica had a great effort in goal for Marian, despite a tough loss to Penn from Indiana. Erica made 9 saves on the first 11 shots and ended with 12 saves, many on spectacular plays on several open scoring opportunities for Penn and keeping the game close.
April 5
Irene Ginakakis, Vernon Hills
Irene has been one of the strongest goalies in the league the past two seasons, being selected an alternate for the Great Lakes National Team last season and continuing her tough play this season. She led the Cougars to a big win over #6 ranked Barrington 6-5 after making 12 saves, including -three on free position shots. She also kept the Cougars comeback in a tough 11-7 loss to Oak Park River Forest. Trailing 8-2 at half, she made eight second half saves to allow Vernon Hills to rally back with great leadership on defense.
